This cooler is QUIET and holds
cpu (AMD) to less than 105 F. So my media playing
PC is audibly invisible.
I'm a permanent user of these

I installed this on an
Intel quad-core and it reduced operating temperature by 50% using the slowest fan speed. OK, so I was using a cheap POS fan before, but regardless this is a very effective and professional item. The instructions were good and it installed easily on my
GIGABYTE EP35-DS4. Why not buy a good fan/sink initially and avoid having to completly disassemble your machine later (as I did) to keep it from overheating? It's plenty quiet and plenty effective with the smaller fan. The only caution I'd offer would be to measure your case carefully since it does take up a significant amount of room.
